¡@ Our purpose is to help deaf children learn to listen and talk fluently. The CHF combines modern teaching methods (Auditory-Verbal) with the latest technology in hearing aids and cochlear implants, to allow deaf children to speak, go to regular schools, and live full, normal lives in the hearing world.

Auditory-Verbal teaching differs from other methods of deaf education in that it uses hearing, rather than lip-reading or sign language, to help deaf children develop listening and speech to communicate with the outside world, and grow up to reach their full potential as human beings. In fact, over 90% of deaf children have residual hearing that, with appropriate hearing aids and training, can allow them to learn to talk. Even children without residual hearing can receive hearing potential from an electronic device called a cochlear implant.
