Held the Joanna NicholsMemorial event "Listen to the storyteller" to encourage children with hearing loss to show their perfectly imperfection, so that everyone could also be in love with their own uniqueness.


2022.05

The first stop of "CHF Children’s Painting and Storytelling Exhibition" was held at AAEON. The online exhibition was opened at the same time where you could listen to the children tell the stories of their paintings.


2022.04

Launched "Language 101: Preschool Children's Language Stimulation Activity Book" to help parents understand children's language development, master interactive language skills in daily life, and guide children to develop age-appropriate language use.

 


2021.12

On the 25th anniversary of the Children’s Hearing Foundation, an online campaign of "Please! Listen and Speak Carefully" was launched. More than 30 celebrities shared their stories about what they learned from communications and promoted listening and speaking carefully to create a better environment for communication.

Chimin Lai, an auditory-verbal specialists of the Children’s Hearing Foundation, was awarded the 12th "Early Care Palm Award" by the Taiwan Association of Child Development and Early Intervention (TACDEI).

The charity single "Happy Children, Happy Singing" was released, and 11 children with hearing loss redefined what perfection meant by singing out their inner voice!

Cooperate with the mother of children with hearing loss to launch the Line sticker "Luckily we have you_Listening & Speaking", a humorous interpretation of how to listen and speak with your heart in daily life.

In the Department of Biomedical Engineering of Chung Yuan Christian University, the course "Digital Applications of Aural Rehabilitation " was offered, and the school of Special Education offered the course "Seminar on Hearing Impairments and Technology" to educate interdisciplinary talents in listening and speaking.

The Line stickers "Listen & Speak Your Mind Sincerely" were launched. This is the second collaboration between children with hearing loss and the illustrator in creating stickers for continuous promotion of friendly communication.

In celebration of the World Hearing Day on March 3rd, we launched "Voices of Home in Memory" and a series of videos, calling to protect hearings in order to preserve precious emotional memories!

CTS News Magazine reported on the stories of Children with hearing loss, showing how families of children with hearing loss share love and face challenges in life together.

The Children’s Hearing Foundation online learning platform was launched. The platform systematically provides information on listening and language learning and health education. In this way, families may become the greatest support for their children with hearing loss.

Held the Seminar on Minimal Hearing Loss to encourage the participation of various medical and educational professionals to be more aware of the existence and needs of minimal hearing loss children.

Launched a series of online courses on themes such as parent 101 and minimal hearing loss, and promoted tele-mapping program and online hearing consultation services, so that early intervention are not limited due to distance.

Joined hands with children with hearing loss to record and deliver the song "Tomorrow will be better", to cheer for frontline medical practitioner and the public.

Published "Open the audio world: 30 compulsory lessons for parents of the hearing impaired children", a comprehensive guidebook for families of hearing impaired children.

Conducted the first Children's Sound Exploration Camp, combined with corporate philanthropy, disadvantaged assistance, and employee relationship, inviting children with normal hearing to recognize sound, enjoy listening, protect hearing, and create a hearing loss friendly environment, enlarging the impact of love and support from partners.

Children's Hearing Foundation held a workshop in 2019, which introduced a text-generating software, an oral reading assessment, shared book reading strategies and situated-teaching techniques, to assist clinical professionals in helping their children with hearing loss develop effective communicative and social skills.

Social Education Public Service Contribution Award, given by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan (R.O.C.)

Launched an educational interactive website promoting minimal hearing loss that aims to provide relevant knowledge and resources for parents of children with minimal hearing loss and medical professionals; helped the public understand the challenges that children with minimal hearing loss  face and ratified social stereotypes for minimal hearing loss

Organized “Hear the World” summer camp, where children could learn the importance of hearing health and experience science of sounds through observing surrounding sounds and developing empathy towards the needs of people with hearing loss which enable them become the pioneers of hearing health

Organized four medical seminars about minimal hearing loss in different regions of Taiwan; invited professionals to discuss various challenges that minimally children with hearing loss face and helped professionals provide more adequate assistance and audiological management

Launched activities promoting friendly communication for children to educate the public that listening is the key to effective communication

Started to provide professional counseling services for parents of minimally children with hearing loss to help alleviate parents’ confusion and anxiety as well as offer them knowledge and mental support

Introduced Mystic Mountains Adventure board game, which aims to help children comprehend the key to communication, empathize with other people’s situations, and become advocates for building a friendly communication environment

Received Spreading Good Award, recognizing our Minimal Hearing Loss Family Service and Promotion Project

Held screening events of the short documentary, Listen to Our Talking Angels, to help the public understand stories of families with children with hearing loss

Introduced Communicate with a New Attitude, a series of events that aimed to let more people understand how to communicate with people with hearing loss

Organized a large-scale event, 20 Years of CHF, with a photo exhibition and stage programs in celebration of CHF’s 20th anniversary, and invited supporters to witness the progress of CHF and children with hearing loss

Organized the Build Your Dreams internet video competition to encourage youths with hearing loss to use their talents and fulfill their dreams

Invited young people who previously attended CHF auditory-verbal sessions to co-organize Help the Younger Me event, a half-day session that enhances the listening and speaking skills of children with hearing loss who are going to elementary school soon

Produced and broadcast Hear the Sounds of Dreams, a short documentary showing the strong independence and diverse lives of with hearing loss youths

Launched The Universe of Hearing online educational exhibition to raise awareness of hearing health and hearing loss
