The Long Marathon of Auditory-Verbal Training
Even with hearing aids, hard of hearing children need countless stimulation of sounds and repetitive practice to be able to develop auditory verbal abilities gradually. For some children, it takes three years to reach the goal of listening and speaking fluently; some need even longer.

At CHF, audiologists, auditory-verbal specialist, and social workers team up to develop a tailor-made teaching plan for each of our children. Various professionals work closely with parents to help their kids learn to listen and speak.
