CHF Speech and Hearing Science Research Institute

Speech and Hearing Science Research Institute of CHF(CHF Research Institute) was founded in 2013 to unwaveringly enhance the quality of CHF’s evidence-based practices with relevant research projects. We aim to apply the academic research outcomes to our (re)habilitation services as well as to perform practicable research based on front-line clinical experiences.

Our researchers come from diverse backgrounds including special education, statistics, linguistics, psychology, and biomedical engineering; they work with CHF auditory-verbal specialists, audiologists, and social workers as a transdisciplinary team. CHF Research Institute also collaborates with renowned universities and academic institutes in Taiwan and abroad to carry out various research projects as well as develop clinical assessment instruments. Our research articles have been published in SCI/SSCI journals, prominent domestic and international journals, and at major conferences in auditory-verbal therapy, special education, and other related fields. Above all, based oo solid research results, we are able to improve and customize our services for children with hearing loss.
